Our products are mostly hand made by artisans in South America, Bolivia, Brazil, Peru and occasionally we work with artisans around the world to create our unique collections.

Yes! Most of our pieces are handmade or slow-made by skilled artisans. Because of this, small variations in color, texture, size, or finish are natural and make each piece unique.

Munai was created to connect customers with the talented craftsmen. We work directly with artisan partners, families, single moms and small workshops, building long-term relationships and making sure the people who create our products are fairly compensated for their work.

Handmade means no two pieces are exactly the same. Slight variations are part of the beauty of artisan made products and are not considered defects.

Most in-stock orders are processed within 1–3 business days, excluding weekends and holidays.

Made-to-order, custom, and pre-order items have different processing times, which will be indicated on the product page.

We can usually accommodate changes or cancellations within 24 hours of placing your order. After that, your order may already be processing and we cannot guarantee that changes can be made.

Depending on your preference and eligibility, approved returns may be processed as a refund to your original payment method, store credit, or an exchange. PLEASE NOTE: Return shipping cost will be deducted from your refund.

Because our products are made with delicate weaving techniques and materials, we recommend following the care instructions provided on each product page.

For many of our macramé cover ups, we recommend steaming to remove wrinkles and either dry cleaning or gentle hand washing. Do not machine wash unless specifically stated on the product page.

Some natural changes can occur with wear, especially with handmade fibers. Proper care and storage will help your piece maintain its shape and beauty for years to come.

Our crochet jewelry is delicate and should be handled with care.

• Keep it away from perfumes, lotions, oils, and hairspray, as these can affect the fibers and finishes.
• Avoid wearing it while swimming, showering, or exercising.
• Keep it away from prolonged exposure to water and humidity.
• When you're not wearing it, store it flat or in a jewelry pouch to help maintain its shape.
• Avoid pulling, stretching, or catching the crochet on jewelry, bags, or rough surfaces.
• If dirty use a jewelry cleaner and shine will be back in no time.

Our handmade handbags are designed to be enjoyed and used, but they should be treated with the same care as any artisan piece.

• Avoid overfilling your bag, as this can stretch or distort its shape.
• Keep it away from excessive moisture and prolonged exposure to rain.
• Avoid placing it on rough or dirty surfaces.
• If your bag gets lightly dirty, gently spot clean it with a soft, damp cloth. Do not scrub.
• Allow it to air dry naturally and completely before storing.
• Store your handbag in a cool, dry place, ideally in a dust bag or pillowcase.
• When storing crochet or macramé bags, avoid hanging them for long periods if they are heavy, as this can affect their shape.

Because our handbags are handmade, natural changes in texture or shape can occur with use. This is part of the character of an artisan-made piece.

Our alpaca plushies are made with natural alpaca fiber and are meant to be loved, but they appreciate gentle care.

• Keep your plushie away from water and excessive moisture.
• Do not machine wash or tumble dry.
• For small spots, gently clean the area with a slightly damp cloth and mild soap.
• Allow it to air dry naturally, away from direct heat.
• Avoid rubbing or brushing the fiber too aggressively.
• Keep it stored in a clean, dry place when not in use.

Alpaca fiber is naturally soft and delicate, so gentle handling will help your plushie maintain its beautiful texture.
