At what age are we supposed to stop buying stuffed animals and plushies?
Somewhere between childhood and adulthood, we're told that we should grow out of them. But honestly... we're not convinced.
Because what's wrong with having a cute little friend sitting on your bed, sofa, or desk? Absolutely nothing.
It's Not Just About Being a Kid
As adults, the things we keep around us can be about comfort, nostalgia, personality, or simply making us smile.
And we think a plushie can be all of those things.
A handmade llama can remind you of a favorite trip. A teddy bear can bring a little nostalgia to your bedroom.
They don't have to be “toys.” They can simply be things you love having around.
Why We Love Ours
Our plushies are handmade by artisans in Peru using ethically sourced alpaca fur and wool. Each one is made by hand, which means they aren't just another mass-produced decoration.
We have llamas, bunnies, teddy bears, penguins, and even tiny llama keychains. Basically, there's a little friend for everyone.
And yes, they're also pretty great gifts when you have no idea what to get someone.
So... Are We Too Old?
We don't think so.
Growing up doesn't mean giving up everything that makes you happy. You can have a serious job, a beautiful home, a busy life, and still have a tiny alpaca sitting on your shelf.
Maybe we're not too old for stuffed animals after all.
Maybe we're just old enough to buy the ones we actually want. 🧸
